These drawings are full of movement and have a sculptural quality. The artist drew from stereoscopic aerial photography, he has previously drawn from touch blindfolded. There is a sense of touch in the visual, by that I mean a physical relation to the form. In that these drawings remind me of drawings done whilst walking, using the motion of walking to create line. Theres an energy in a line like that which is uncontrolled and unique. In addition to this they describe a clear mapping notion with a depth, you know, or feel its a 3d form but it kind of looks like a map too.
